On 6 June 2013, EMN National Contact Point (NCP) in the United Kingdom organised a conference on the Identification of trafficking victims and subsequent investigative measures.

IOM International Organization for Migration as the coordinator of the EMN National Contact Point in the Slovak Republic arranged a one-day conference entitled Migration of Students from Third Countries to Slovakia and EU which took place in Bratislava on 4 December 2012.

Slovak and foreign experts from Bratislava, Brussels, London, Prague and Vienna gave a presentation at the conference entitled Migration of Qualified Workers from Third Countries: Policies and Practice which was held in Bratislava on 20 November 2013. Invited speakers introduced the recent developments and policies in international as well as European labour migration. They also described measures which were implemented by the European countries in order to attract qualified workers from states outside the EU. The conference was hosted by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) as the coordinator of the EMN National Contact Point for the Slovak Republic.

IOM International Organization for Migration as the coordinator of the EMN National Contact Point in the Slovak Republic and the IOM Migration Information Centre organized an international conference entitled National Dialogue on Integration under the auspices of Ms. Lucia Nicholsonová, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic.

On 10th October 2011 representatives of the Slovak EMN National Contact Point participated in the second National Conference on Pathways out of Irregularity followed by the Twinning Meeting organized by the Norweigan EMN National Contact Point.
