EMN in cooperation with the IOM Migration Information Centre arranged an interactive academic lecture for students of the St. Elisabeth University of Health and Social Work in Bratislava on 21 March 2012.

On 25 March 2010 the representatives of the EMN National Contact Point gave a presentation to the Matej Bel University students in Banská Bystrica.

EMN presented itself in an academic discussion with international participation which was held on 17 June 2011 in Bratislava as a part of the preparatory meeting for the NICLAS Summer School on Migration.

On 10 March 2011 another lecture was held within the EMN activities, this time for the students of politology, European studies and journalism at the Faculty of Arts of the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra.

The last March meeting with university students took part on 23 March 2011 at the Department of Journalism of the Faculty of Philosophy of the Comenius University in Bratislava.
