EMN Ad-Hoc Queries
The system of Ad-Hoc Queries enables exchange of specific information on migration and international protection among the EU Member States, Norway and the European Commission in an accelerated manner. On average the EMN answers 100 Ad-Hoc Queries per year.
Within the EMN, the answers to Ad-Hoc Queries are exchanged based on specifically defined rules and they serve at preparing policies, legislation and various strategic or information documents. In the Slovak Republic the system of Ad-Hoc Queries is managed by the IOM as a coordinator of the EMN national activities and the queries are approved by the Office of the Minister of Interior.
