On 10th October 2011 representatives of the Slovak EMN National Contact Point participated in the second National Conference on Pathways out of Irregularity followed by the Twinning Meeting organized by the Norweigan EMN National Contact Point.

On 21 August 2013, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) as the coordinator of the National Contact Point EMN in Slovakia hosted screening of the documentary film The Tree Workers Case by Daniela Agostini. The event was organised within the 2nd EMN educational seminar entitled Labour Migration Opportunities and Challenges taking place in Bratislava on 20 – 22 August.

On 19 August 2014, the EMN arranged a discussion evening entitled People Forced to Flee about forced migration, its causes, refugees and possibilities to help related to current conflicts and crises around the world.

On October 8, 2014, the international conference of the Swedish EMN National Contact Point (NCP) entitled Unaccompanied Minors – Swedish and European Perspectives took place in Stockholm and was attended by the Slovak EMN NCP representative.

The second working breakfast this time with representatives of the research institutions was organized within the EMN activities on 30 May 2011. The core topic was introduction to the EMN activities, its outputs on the national and EU level and its use for the Slovak research.
