EMN Asylum and Migration Overviews (until 2023 EMN Annual Reports on Migration and Asylum)

The publication and its accompanying documents summarize the most important developments in policies, legislation, activities, and statistics that have taken place in the field of migration and asylum at the national and European levels during the calendar year. The overviews are prepared on the basis of a pre-agreed and approved assignment (specification) that is the same for all EU Member States and EMN observer countries.

Annual Report on Migration and International Protection Statistics 2009

The report describes and clarifies the statistical and development trends in the field of migration and international protection in the EU and its Member States in 2009 compared to the previous period. In 2009, the last statistical report was published and partially replaced by the EMN Bulletin.

Annual Report on Migration and Asylum Policies 2008

The report informs about the most significant political and legislative developments, as well as public debates, in the fields of migration and asylum which occurred in the EU and its Member States during the year 2008, with the focus on third-country nationals rather than EU nationals.It also contains relevant statistical data. The report for the Slovak Republic describes national developments and put them in the context of the EU policies and legislation.
