EMN Discussion Evening: People Forced to Flee, Bratislava, 19 August 2014

On 19 August 2014, the EMN arranged a discussion evening entitled People Forced to Flee about forced migration, its causes, refugees and possibilities to help related to current conflicts and crises around the world.

The discussion was preceded by the screening of the documentary film Refugees: Who Needs Them? Among main guests were international experts - Caroline Van Buren (UNHCR Regional Representation for Central Europe in Budapest), Michael Gray (IOM Geneva Headquarters) and José Angel Oropeza (IOM Coordinating Office for the Mediterranean).

This public event was organised in KC Dunaj in Bratislava as an accompanying programme of the EMN Educational Seminar: Forced Migration – Causes and Possible Solutions.
