EMN Small Scale Meeting with representatives of selected institutions active in law making and application process regarding legal and irregular migration, Malatiny, October 2017

On 25-26 October 2017 International Organization for Migration (IOM), as the coordinator of the EMN National Contact Point for the Slovak Republic organised, together with the  Bureau of the Border and Alien Police of the Police Force Presidium, a small scale meeting in Malatiny for the representatives of selected institutions/bodies active in the field of law making and implementation of legislation related to legal and irregular migration of third-country nationals to Slovakia. The meeting was attended by 27 participants.

The aim of this small scale meeting was the exchange of information in the field of forced and assisted voluntary returns of third-country nationals, discussion on the current practical issues of implementation of legislation related to the residence and visa regime as well as practical challenges connected to the studies of third-country nationals in the territory of the SR. At the same time EMN outputs were distributed among participants and information on the upcoming EMN studies were presented.
