Working breakfast on the upcoming EMN focussed study Admitting third-country nationals on business purposes, Bratislava, 3 November, 2014

On November 3 2014, International Organization for Migration (IOM) as a coordinator of EMN activities in Slovakia organised working breakfast on the upcoming EMN focussed study titled Admitting third-country nationals on business purposes. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Alien Police of the Police Force Presidium, Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic and Slovak Investment and Trade Agency (SARIO).

The meeting was launched by presenting the aim, scope, content and specifications of the upcoming EMN study which will focus on national legislation and policies in the area of business related migration, conditions of admitting third country nationals on business purposes and identification of challenges and good practices. The presentation was followed by a discussion during which the participants talked about the situation in the Slovak Republic, possibilities of cooperation and obtaining data from representatives of individual institutions which is necessary for the elaboration of the study for the Slovak Republic.
