IOM's Key Partner Meeting
On 13 December 2011 IOM International Organization for Migration as a coordinator of the National Contact Point of the Slovak Republic organised a meeting with its main partners in Bratislava. The meeting was opened by the Head of the IOM Office in Bratislava who warmly welcomed all the participants and thanked them for the cooperation in year 2011. Subsequently, she summarized and evaluated major IOM activities in Slovakia, which were financed by the European Commission, Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic and the Government of the United States of America.
Expert Coordination Meeting on Action Plan to Migration Policy of the Slovak Republic in the Perspective of 2020, Senec, 9 - 10 November 2011
With regard to approval of the Migration Policy of the Slovak Republic in the Perspective of 2020 an expert coordination meeting took place on 9th and 10th November 2011 in Senec.
EMN and IOM International Conference on National Dialogue on Integration, Bratislava, 15 November 2011
IOM International Organization for Migration as the coordinator of the EMN National Contact Point in the Slovak Republic and the IOM Migration Information Centre organized an international conference entitled National Dialogue on Integration under the auspices of Ms. Lucia Nicholsonová, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic.
Conference on Pathways out of Irregularity in Oslo, Norway, 10 October 2011
On 10th October 2011 representatives of the Slovak EMN National Contact Point participated in the second National Conference on Pathways out of Irregularity followed by the Twinning Meeting organized by the Norweigan EMN National Contact Point.
Summer School of Ethnicity and Migration Studies - 2nd edition, Bratislava, 18 - 30 July 2011
From 18 to 30 July 2011 the second edition of the two-week Summer School of Ethnicity and Migration Studies was held in Bratislava and EMN was one of its partners.
Meeting with the students of the Faculty of Law of the Pan European University in Bratislava, 17 June 2011
EMN presented itself in an academic discussion with international participation which was held on 17 June 2011 in Bratislava as a part of the preparatory meeting for the NICLAS Summer School on Migration.
